My best friend keeps cancelling plans last minute. I don't want to lose her, but I'm tired of feeling like an option. How do I bring it up?

My best friend moved abroad and every video call ends with both of us pretending we're not sad.

J'aimerais juste qu'on me laisse chercher sans me juger.

I made dua for a job for six months. It didn't come, but something better did: the courage to start my own small business. Maybe that was the answer all along.

This Eid I cooked for my international friends in Berlin: Italian, Korean, Brazilian, all at one table eating my mom's recipes. It felt like home had come to me.

I was afraid my questions meant I was losing my faith. Then an imam I trust told me asking questions is part of believing. I slept peacefully that night.

Problem: I used to feel close to my faith, but lately my prayers feel empty and automatic. I'm not losing belief, I just feel far away. Has anyone found their way back from this?

Sometimes after Fajr, when the whole city is still asleep, I sit on my prayer mat a little longer just to feel that quiet. It's the only time my mind stops racing.

Ça me calme à chaque fois.

I started praying fajr again this month after years of sleeping through it. The quiet at that hour feels like the only time my head is clear.
